Sally is a qualified Social Worker with over twenty years experience working within Children and Families services. She was part of Birmingham’s Child Protection Team and also worked within Walsall Domestic Violence Services. Sally has extensive experience working within dynamically high level demanding environments; working closely with Families, the NSPCC, the Police, the courts and other agencies. In 2000 Sally transferred over to care management, taking up the role of responsibility for the long term care planning needs of young people.
In 2002 Sally founded Orkid House; a residential family centre with our Managing Director, David Miller. Orkid House later achieved outstanding by Ofsted. Through her professional knowledge, skills and determination, she has played a significant part in the development of DMR Services Community services provisions, which includes family contact services, Priority Families, Edge of Care and is Cafcass accredited level three Social Worker.
